OPEN CALL FOR POETS

Painting and poetry are inextricably linked. Paintings inspire the work of poets, and vice versa, poetic masterpieces become the subjects of paintings. The spontaneously created project of uniting poetry and art has resulted in a series of poetic works written by our exhibition vewers.

We invite you to submit your poetry inspired by the paintings of our recent exhibition COLOURS OF UKRAINE. We will post your poetry on the Shevchenko Museum social media along with the art work that  was an inspiration for the creation of your piece. We also will invite you to read your poetry at the Shevchenko Museum Poetry Night Event on January 11, 2024. We garantee that your copyrights will be respected.
