Celebrate the brief, luminous moment of cherry blossom season with us this spring. The Shevchenko Museum invites artists to participate in a two?day plein air gathering during the peak sakura bloom in High Park, Toronto.
Join us on May 2 & 3, from 11 AM to 5 PM, near Colborne Lodge, where our team will host an information table. Artists are welcome to paint, draw, or work in any medium while immersed in the landscape. Check-in required.
Following the event, participants are invited to submit their studies or small works for exhibition at the Shevchenko Museum. Artworks may be dropped off from May 4 to May 8 at our gallery at 1604 Bloor Street West, where they will be displayed and offered for sale.
The exhibition of selected works will run from May 12 to June 12, 2026.
Participation is free. The gallery retains a 30% commission on sold works.
Come capture the season’s beauty and share in a collective moment of observation and creation.
