The lecture will offer a comprehensive overview of the formation and development of Ukrainian art glass — from early craft traditions and regional centers to the authorial studios of the 20th and 21st centuries. It will highlight key techniques, stylistic directions, the influence of European schools, and the contributions of leading masters who shaped the unique aesthetic of this artistic phenomenon.
Participants will learn about landmark collections, museum holdings, and contemporary trends that define the place of Ukrainian art glass within the international cultural landscape.
